Financial Controller Associate - Fixed Assets and IT expenses

Your team responsibilities:

We are seeking to hire a new team member in the Global Expense Team, who will support the accounting and reporting responsibilities of Fixed Assets and IT expenses. Within Fixed Assets the main categories are IT (Hardware and Perpetual Software) and Occupancy (Leasehold improvements and Furniture). IT expenses cover IT Consultant, Cloud services, Subscription Software license and Hardware maintenance contracts and other telecom fees.

Your key responsibilities:

- Ensuring accurate accounting and timely reporting of Fixed Asset categories and various IT expenses in line with US GAAP regulations

- Contribute to the month-end close process by recording Fixed Asset transactions, calculating accruals, and recording prepayment amortization for IT expenses

- Reconciliation of Balance Sheet (Accrual and Prepaid accounts for IT; Fixed Asset sub-ledger accounts)

- Strong collaboration with Procurement Team, Regional Legal Entity Controller Teams (Americas, EMEA and APAC), FP&A Team and Technology contacts

- Assistance with external and internal audits

- Participation in Purchase Requisition process in SAP

Your skills and experience that will help you excel:

- Accounting degree/recognized accounting-related qualification, or degree in Finance

- At least 3 years working experience in accounting/controlling area

- Good English communication skills both verbal and written

- Ability of working in a global environment

- Attention to detail

- High level of motivation, commitment to work hard

- Good Microsoft Excel skills (Power BI experience is an advantage)

- SAP experience is an advantage
