THE ROLE
You will be supporting the continued development of MPOWER's values-centered culture and strategic Talent Initiatives. You will lead key strategic projects that contribute positively to our employee experience and are critical to further company growth objectives. The right candidate will have demonstrated experience as a strategic HR leader in fast-paced, results-driven growth stage global company and thrive on making an impact.
Your responsibility will include but not limited to:
- Collaborating with functional leaders to proactively identify opportunities for enhancing organizational performance, inclusion, and engagement
- Analyzing HR trends, Talent metrics and leading initiatives to improve the efficiency of the Talent Team and the organization
- Working closely with functional leaders and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention
- Serving as the advocate for all team members on Talent and culture matters
- Researching, creating, and implementing policies, procedures, benefits, and other initiatives to support MPOWER's global expansion efforts
THE QUALIFICATIONS
- Masters degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field, preferred
- 10+ years of experience as a key member of a Talent team in a high-paced, fast-growth entrepreneurial and global environment
- Able to work independently and utilize sound judgment and problem-solving skills
- Must have strong verbal, written, analytical, and interpersonal skills, including demonstrated ability to deal with confidential information and sensitive situations with tact and diplomacy
- Must be detail-oriented, with excellent administrative and organizational skills
- A passion for financial inclusion and access to higher education is a must, as well as comfort working with a global team across multiple time zones and locations!
- In addition, you should be comfortable working in a fast growth environment, meaning a small agile team, fast-evolving roles and responsibilities, variable workload, tight deadlines, a high degree of autonomy, and 80-20 everything.
