Responsibilities as Manager Fraud operations - Analyze fraud trends and build algorithms to prevent fraudulent activities within each business lines. Also, Identify system improvements to prevent fraudulent activities. - Spend time on creative problem solving, product development for Fraud Prevention and Deterrence, metrics reporting, along with mentoring and development of agents. - Maintain fraud analysis models to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of company systems. - Pull and synthesize data to identify and detect fraud ring trends. Be Responsible for maintaining and improving the overall data related to users' behavior and fraud history in the app. - Recommend anti-fraud processes for changing transaction patterns and trends. - Recommend new software tools used for fraud detection, prevention and reporting activities. - Recommend features to change the user's perception of fraud on the app and features to educate users on zero tolerance of fraudulent activity - Propose features like Customer Segmentation and user profiling based on user's behavior in the app. - Produce documentation and guidelines for fraud tasks, leading to a more efficient activity review. - Generate suspicious activity reports and risk management reports for Managers. - Work with a team of agents performing proactive and reactive fraud review of customer accounts and activity with the aim of reducing fraud tickets - Collaborate with training new Fraud Specialists with coaching, feedback, and presentations An ideal candidate should have : - Relevant experience in fraud detection - Able to lead a team - Metrics focused - Subject matter expert in high transaction fraud detection environment - Should have at least 6 years of relevant experience - Should be able to work in startup environment
