Motorola Mobility is looking for the Lead - Marketing Activations who will be responsible for developing and delivering effective direct and online marketing campaigns that engage current and potential customers and drives business results.

This person will lead digital, media and PR, events marketing ecosystem for Motorola India.

This role of Lead -


- Marketing Activations is that of a budding leader who is an innovative solution finder, strategic & analytical thinker driving the biggest bang for each buck spent and is extremely passionate about making a mark in both the digital domain and the marketing field.


- Should be comfortable with Technology - soft/hardware, and open to exploring new age media solutions.


- A go-getter who has done path-breaking work that has won accolades and helped grow the business and is hungry to make a mark in this field.


- Should have an entrepreneurial streak and an ability to adapt to ever changing competitive environment.

He would be expected to run with a sharp focus on digital, managing the following:

- Developing and executing the digital marketing strategy for Motorola smart phones in India, including social media marketing, online advertising, community management, mobile marketing programs, SEO, SEM & ORM to achieve Marketing & Business objectives

- Conduct market research to identify effective promotional methods and negotiate media contracts across print, ATL, digital.

- Preparing annual budget for the digital vertical, monitor competitor strategies and industry trends

- Identify consumer insights & purchase behavior to develop communication strategy across owned & earned digital platforms

- End to end management of Digital & Social media campaigns - creative, innovations and media for the New Product Launches (Tease, Launch and Sustenance) to drive awareness and generate demand.

- Co-ordination with product, sales & global marketing teams to ensure that our campaigns further build on the product proposition and help us meet the defined business objectives.

- Managing e-comm Partner relationships for Digital & Social Presence for our devices on their platforms

- Improving positive sentiment around brand with proactive and reactive content seeding

- Inspire and engage the agency and key publishers to deliver campaigns that stand- out.

- Manage overall Media Planning and Media Buying to drive higher efficiencies in planning and improved ROI.

- Motivate the internal and agency teams to deliver exceptional performance

- Set KPI metrics for agency and media partners

- Execute Industry-first innovations that establish Motorola as a leader in this domain.

Position Requirements:


- Minimum - 10 years of experience in Marketing domain preferably in tech industry - IT, Telecom.

- In-depth knowledge of Digital Media Planning & Buying, Brand Communication, Social Media Marketing, Analytics, SEO & SEM, Online reputation Management, Campaign Management, Digital Researches

- Familiarity with digital media landscape in India and its role in the overall marketing mix.

- Proven track record of delivering successful media solutions.

- An agency/media stint is preferable, though not a must
