Reporting to the Senior Vice President, Real Estate Investments, the analyst is responsible for assisting the senior team by evaluating potential real estate investment opportunities in India, with focus on residential and office segment; developing real estate investment analysis and financial information in the form of memos and financial models and providing recommendations; monitoring and managing investments. Role-Specific Accountability :&nbsp; Analyze Real Estate Investment Opportunities - Assist in analyzing, structuring, negotiating, recommending and when approved, closing new deals including working on due diligence and legal documentation), sourced by the investment management team. - Develop financial models to analyze opportunities - Conduct research on property sector and contribute towards qualitative and quantitative analysis - Assist senior members in the selection, evaluation and on-going monitoring of relationships and investments - Provide assistance to investment management professionals in business development and relationship management Execute Real Estate Investments :&nbsp; - Assists in the underwriting process of real estate investments - Manages specific aspects of the execution of the real estate investment opportunity - Participates in due diligence meetings with partners and external advisors - Coordinates closing activities internally and externally - Contribute to the note to be presented to the investment committee Monitor Existing Real Estate Investments - Participates in the monitoring and management of the investments and performing reviews of existing investments and relationship - Prepare quantitative analysis of underwritten project business plans, periodical reporting to management, assisting in identifying potential issues and in their resolution pertaining to the investments - Coordinate with Finance &amp; Operations team with respect to monitoring ongoing investments Qualifications :&nbsp; - Post Graduate degree such as MBA from a top ranking Indian institution. Other professional qualifications such as a CFA and or CA would be an added advantage - 1-3 years of relevant experience in India in real estate and or corporate finance/ capital markets - Strong communication skills (oral, written, presentation); demonstrated strong interpersonal skills - Displays a high degree of professionalism, with the ability to manage internal and external relationships - Extensive working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.); in particular, ability to financial model with Excel - Strong quantitative, financial and analytical skills; experience compiling data and financial information. - Flexibility, adaptability and initiative; are forward-thinking and a motivated self-starter - Good judgment and sense of priorities - Team player who enjoys a high performance culture; open to and comfortable with constantly evolving and changing priorities and new challenges - Professionalism and high degree of integrity
