Morgan Stanley - Vice President - Data Quality & Governance

As part of the Data & Analytics Group (DAG) and the Head of the India DAG locally, the individual is responsible for the following :

1. Collaborate with stakeholders across IM and Firm Data Center of Excellence to develop and deliver on the overarching data quality strategy

2. Work closely with Data Owners/Owner delegates on the issue analysis and development data quality (DQ) rules.

3. End-to-end analysis of business processes, data flows, and data usage to identify opportunities to incorporate Data Quality checks to improve business productivity

4. Interact with business stakeholders and IT to identify, prioritize and address issues related to Data Quality and Data Quality tooling

5. Work with IT on enhancing DQ platforms and oversee testing and implementation of enhancements and/ or new tools pertaining to Data Quality

6. Create awareness of the central Data Quality platform and work with various functional teams to adopt the same

7. Participate in data governance working group activities and lead/ manage MSIM activities pertaining to Data Quality

8. Work on various MSIM data initiatives representing DAG as a key subject matter expert and resource on Data Quality.

9. Support other DAG initiatives on Data Quality
