The portfolio Analytics group of Morgan Stanley Fund Services focuses on providing solutions for risk and performance measurement, portfolio transparency reporting and other portfolio analytics needs of Morgan Stanley's global hedge fund clientele.The portfolio Analytics group currently seeks a person who is interested in applying his/her skills in the business area concerning analysis and analytical tools Key Responsibility: - The candidate is expected to rapidly learn portfolio performance, risk and other analytics applications internal to MSFS and be able to answer related client questions - The candidate will resolve business problems with Technical and business acumen and ideate building new analytical tools alongside contribution to maintenance of the existing tools - The incumbent will be involved in preparing reports that involve risk and performance calculation including investor transparency report, verification of data and responding to client queries Skill Set Desired : - Strong understanding of equities, fixed income and derivatives products. Hedge funds experience will be an advantage - Hands-on experience with Excel- VBA. Basic functional knowledge of R/Python or any other programming language will be added advantage
