Morgan Stanley - Associate/Manager - Sales - Fixed Income Division

The Fixed Income Division is comprised of Interest Rate and Currency Products, Credit Products and Distribution. Professionals in the Division assess and actively manage risk, trade securities, and structure as well as execute innovative transactions in the fast-paced and constantly changing global markets. The Commodities Division is a market leader in energy, metals, and agricultural product trading worldwide whose professional's trade in both physical and derivative commodity risk.

This role involves providing Sales Support to the Tokyo Regional Financial Institution in Fixed Income in Morgan Stanley. It's a unique opportunity to work with a team that covers over 200 clients across a large set of products in the Fixed Income space:

- JGB cash trades, JPY swaps / Options / repo

- Structured Notes and Loans

- Non-JPY governments cash / swap / repo

- Plain credit products cash / CDS

- Various fund products, some IED related funds

- Securitized products, mainly US CLO

The ideal candidate for this role will be someone who has experience working in Fixed Income space in front officer or middle office capacity. Having working knowledge of Japanese preferred.

Some of the functions that candidate is expected to perform are:

- (JPY and non JPY) SwapOptionCDSrepo booking; after sales executes a deal, sales will produce a trade recap for internal usage so based up on this information, book the trade, chase Trade Assistants for correctness, make sure that the trade matches in the system. After the trade matches, for swap trades, send instructions to the Market Wire / Paper confirmation teams so that they arrange to send confirmation to clients

- Client front confirmation sending for Swap,Option,CDS as per above trade recap. Also follow option exercise / expire schedules and notice clients accordingly

- Notification of Basis swap roll details

- Adhoc weekly/monthly tasks required by the Sales desk

- Business trip arrangement for Tokyo Sales. Sales will provide the trip outline, so would want arrangement for the transportation, liaise with Travel Center
