( Fintech ) Credit & Business Development Lead
Product Development :
- Understand and articulate key pain points of given lender and work with the tech team to find solutions for them.
- Help validate the solution for given pain points by devising appropriate pilot
Sales :
Identify target lenders-clients on the basis of :
- Size of historical data-set available
- Loan Product Mix of lender
- Asset quality of loan book
- Size of loan-book
- Ease of acquiring as client
- Get mandates from the top management of NBFCs and banks to run pilots
- Engage with tech team to ensure that pilot is being executed in-line with optimal strategy for given client
- Ensure that the results of the pilot are presented in the best possible way to the client
- Work on post-pilot sale to close a long term engagement with client
Pricing :
- Understand given lender's ability and willingness to pay for our product and evolve optimal pricing
Competition Management :
- Identify key competition and perform a deep-analysis of their product offerings and business model.
- Help company adapt its offerings and business strategy to deal with competition
Skills :
Detailed and quantitative appreciation of :
- Credit risk
- Pricing of loan products
- Consumer behaviour & credit-characteristics
Thorough knowledge of processes used by best of breed Indian lenders in the areas of :
- Customer acquisition
- Credit appraisal
- Disbursement
- Collections (will be a plus)
Strong network with NBFCs and banks. Ability to leverage it to :
- Get information about the lender's pain points and processes
- Setup meetings with the top-management to pitch product
Experience and Qualifications :
A minimum of 5-8 years experience across at least 3 of the following verticals across different NBFCs and banks :
- MSME loans
- 2W/ 4W loans
- CV loans
- Personal loans
- LAP/Mortgages
- MBA/CA/CFA
