Monsanto - Financial Analysis & Reporting Lead - Contractual Role

The Global Finance Operations Data, Metrics, Analysis and Reporting Lead owns and is responsible for the development and implementation of key data analytics capabilities; of the GSS internal performance and the customer management reporting metrics, dashboards and KPI- s; and of our dynamic analysis and reporting capabilities. This role will work closely with the GSS LT and customer base to establish the required reporting and cadence. This includes the ongoing ownership and responsibility for reporting. This role will lead the standard analysis activities and the development of key value-added analysis capabilities that support the objectives of the GSS. This role will liaise with the Financial Systems Team to test and implement the reporting tools that support the aforementioned objectives.

This role reports directly to the Global Financial Operations Lead, will be part of the GFO leadership team and will have the unique opportunity to connect with key finance leaders across the finance organization.

Main Responsibilities/ Activities of Role:

- Development, implementation and on-going support for the key data analytics capabilities (e.g. T&E auditing; R2R balance sheet reconciliation analysis)

- Liaise with GSS LT and Customer base to establish metrics, KPI- s, dashboards and key reporting requirements

- Preparation of the on-going customer reporting, analysis and dashboards; including write-ups, which includes metric trends and explaining variances, and executive summaries

- Preparation of the on-going GSS operating and performance analysis reporting including write-ups, which includes metric trends and explaining variances, and executive summaries

- Analysis activities where needed

- Building out value-added analysis capabilities

Qualifications:

- 10-plus years of experience in Accounting or Finance

- Prior analysis and reporting experience

- International experience or exposure

- Experience with reporting tools

- Experience evaluating and assessing end-to-end business activities, to use as a basis to establish operating and performance metrics, KPI- s, and dashboards for reporting for internal and customer purposes

- Prior experience managing teams

- Experience with global ERP systems and process (e.g. SAP)
