Purpose of Role :
The Category Management Manager is responsible for championing the Category Management approach within the organization, and applying it externally working collaboratively with customers across both MT & TT. Drive Shopper Insights by Category and Customer to leverage them through in store Activation
Career Experiences Required & Role Implications :
- 6-8 years + relevant experience in a well reputed FMCG or Retail Company. Food experience is preferable
- Should have category management in MT environment
- Have understanding of shopper research process and has lead research to activation process
- Ability to engage with internal teams across and work with them to influence the customers

Main Responsibilities :
a. Category Management
- Assessing CatMan opportunities with key customers to develop joint-working projects within the 5P framework
- Prepare CatMan plan for the year & determine resource allocation (Level 0-4)
- Create & drive specialized Category Management programs for TT
- Creating standardised tools & guidelines to help execution by frontline team
- Develop Planogram Modules for Category & Customer
b. Shopper Insight
- Drive Shopper Insights by Category and Customer both for MT & TT
- Commercialize the Insights both in MT & TT
- Partner in assessing periodically our presence at Hot Zone and back of store and help drive it providing tools for same
- Partner in developing the future POB elements

- Deliver Hot Zone Enhancement targets and Category Planogramming Activations as per plan
- Achieve Category Growths and Market Share plans in activated Accounts/ categories
- Develop and progress Hot Zone and Back of Store Category Captaincy Vision with Strategic Accounts"
