Purpose of the role :


- Mondelz online business is a fast growing opportunity and a strategic global priority. Apart from the core business with e-retailers, there are several emerging opportunities in the online ecosystem. A key growth pillar for ecommerce is Direct to Consumer business which is a critical future facing initiative.

- Mondelz India has a unique Direct to Consumer business www.cadburygifting.in for servicing both corporates and consumers chocolate gifting needs. This business is nascent and has a huge runway for growth.

- This role holder will develop the strategic roadmap and business ambition for DTC, build capabilities and execute all operations for DTC.

Main responsibilities :

- End to end leadership of DTC business ; personalized gifting solutions for consumers, corporates and incubation of new opportunities like weddings

- Own and execute business P&L ; revenue, margin, commercial and operations hygiene

- Improve product experience and platform capabilities

- Deliver on key shopper acquisition, retention and experience metrics

- Fulfillment operations - partnership with warehouses, last milers, build own capability

- Develop Personalisation capabilities

- Build and own end to end customer care and service experience

- Analysis, reporting and action planning for DTC business

- Influence assortment, marketing, digital media and CRM to drive business results

- Be the ambassador of DTC within Mondel- z India and global, bringing in outside in perspective, scan external ecosystem and build new thinking to constantly evolve the business.

- Incubate and scale non-grocery gifting partnerships to develop new revenue streams

Key KPIs for the role :

- P&L for portfolio ; including GSV, NR, TAMI, A&C

- DTC metrics ; website traffic, conversion, bounce rate, average order value, delivery timeline

- Revenue from florists and other partners

Career experience required : MBA with 7 to 8 years of experience, preferably ecom.

Key stakeholders/interfaces :

- DTC service providers, Fulfillment partners, media agency, account teams eCommerce team, IT team, Brand teams, supply chain, MT team, CPA

Key leadership capabilities needed :

- Dealing with ambiguity and lack of structure

- Learning on the fly

- Drive for results

- Problem solving

- Process management and planning
