How you will contribute:-

'The GSO Modelling & Simulation is a member of the Mondelez Digital Services (MDS) Digital R&D team.

- He/she owns the technology roadmaps that support the Modelling & Simulation functions within R&D.

- He/she understands the business process, needs & challenges, and works across R&D and MDS teams to bring in technology perspectives from external research partners, integrators, software providers, and MDS teams.

- He/She collaborates with the business to own the prioritization of developments and identifies vendors to perform such improvements.

- He/she partners internally across IT groups & externally (e.g. Vendors, Architects or Application Development Factory) to lead the delivery of solutions in the R&D Modelling & Simulation areas.

- He/she understands the how the solutions' data can be connected and integrated into other strategic solutions (including Mondelez' Data Hub) and work with teams to integrate data that is strategically fit for purpose.

- He/She champions the use of Agile practices throughout a solution lifecycle (from proof of concept to pilot) as well as project management practices to commercialize & scale solutions.

- He/she manages Application support teams to maintain solutions that enable longevity and performance of its systems architecture, data and deliver key business drivers/outcomes.

- He/She manages a portfolio of IT solutions used in R&D Modelling & Simulation, including the application lifecycle, ongoing cost ownership, and roadmap of future solutions in this space.

- He/she will lead targeted R&D digital & data strategic initiatives to support R&D's overall Vision 2030 objectives.

- He/She ensures that solutions comply to Mondelez standards.

What you need to know about this position:

'The Global Solution Owner - MDS R&D Modeling and Simulation is a member of the Mondelez Digital Services (MDS) Digital R&D team.

The incumbent will be expected to:

- Work within packaging as well as across other R&D functions & categories to deliver business value using various systems & digital technologies.

- Understand the business process area, business needs and challenges within existing solutions.

- Translate business needs into a backlog of functionalities which need to be designed and developed.

- Collaborate with the business to own the prioritization of developments and identifies vendors to perform such improvements.

- Partner internally across various IT groups & externally (e.g. Vendors, Architects or Application Development Factory) to lead the delivery of such solutions.

- Support various R&D digital & data strategic initiatives and incorporate Packaging related data where needed into R&D models and solutions.

- Champion the use of Agile practices throughout a solution lifecycle (from proof of concept to pilot) as well as project management practices to scale solutions.

- Work closely with Application support to understand what may be impacting end users and drives necessary systemic fixes to mitigate future risks.

- Manage a portfolio of IT solutions used by the R&D Packaging team, including the application lifecycle, ongoing cost ownership, and roadmap of future solutions in this space.

- Ensure that solutions comply to Mondelez standards.

- 5+ years of professional experience ideally in the consumer goods industry.

Education / Certifications:-

Degree in IT/IS Computer Science or equivalent.

Job specific requirements:-

- Knowledge of Modelling & Simulation, Data & Analytics solutions is a plus.

- Knowledge of Data Architecture is a plus.

- Knowledge of cloud infrastructure skills (Azure, AWS etc).

- Knowledge of creation of workflow & python coding for integrating simulation models is a plus.

- Good to have knowledge on CFD (Computation Fluid Dynamics) and FEA (Finite Element Analysis) modelling.

- Experience managing product lifecycles.

- Knowledge of R&D new product development, Packaging systems & processes is a plus.

- Interface with Key Stakeholders:

- External - 3rd party consultants (e.g. System Integrators and Consultants) Strategic Partners (e.g. Accenture, Infosys, etc) 3rd party support teams.

- Internal - R&D Functional Teams: Modelling & Simulation; Categories MDS Teams: R&D Leadership; Innovation, Data & Analytics, Portfolio, CTO teams (network, hosting, EUC), Architecture, Service Operations Other MDS Functions: Finance, Procurement, Supply Chain, Manufacturing.
