The purpose of the global Corporate & Government Affairs (CGA) function is to promote and protect the reputation of MDLZ in order to: - attract and retain top talent - secure our license to operate with minimal regulatory disruption - drive investor confidence. As the Coordinator for Internal Communications and CSR, this role contributes to that purpose through the design and execution of outstanding internal communications and supporting CSR projects in India. Although primarily responsible for India, all MDLZ CGA team members are expected to think globally and collaborate with colleagues from around the world to share best practice and create campaigns which can be rolled out across multiple markets. 2. Operating Environment : In 2014 MDLZ started a significant transformation program to set the business up for sustainable, profitable, growth. Since then we have undertaken a number of acquisitions and divestments to focus our portfolio on our core snacks categories. We are reinventing our supply chain with the downsizing of older assets alongside multi-million dollar investments in new greenfield manufacturing plants and lines of the future. And we have introduced a new category model to help us streamline decision-making and move quickly to grow share and beat the competition. As part of this transformation, in 2016 we consolidated our region structure, bringing together Middle East & Africa with Asia Pacific to create our new $6BN AMEA Region. AMEA is now our largest region, home to 30k colleagues, 30 plants and three R&D centers. It combines the profitable developed markets of Australia, Japan and the Middle East with some of the world's fastest growing emerging markets including India, China and South East Asia. 3. Primary Accountabilities / Responsibilities : The AMEA CGA team is on the front line of MDLZ AMEA's ambitious growth agenda helping to promote the latest innovations and investments in the region; keeping our people engaged in the transformation and partnering with government to ensure we can make the necessary changes to our operating model and ways of working. Specific responsibilities for the Coordinator - Internal Communications and CSR include: a. Internal communications - Work closely and support the internal communications team to ensure India colleagues understand corporate strategy and business performance (includes quarterly region town halls, monthly - open house- sessions, email updates from the market leader, intranet content, seasonal celebration events, etc) - Develop effective and creative communications to benefit the business and colleagues e.g. campaign approach for communications - Excellent writing skills and communicate creatively - Support and facilitate local rollout of Global/AP initiatives - Coordination with creative agency for implementation of the internal initiatives and effective budget negotiations b. CSR projects - Work closely and support CSR team for coordination with NGO partners on the progress of ongoing CSR projects across the country - Communicate and build pride internally through our CSR programs - Documentation and budget management of the programs 4. Experience : - Minimum of 3-5 years experience in communications, including experience in government affairs and issues management - Work experience in PR agency is preferred.
