Job Role

- Implementation of the overall supply chain strategy from the mid mile to the last mile

- Selection, negotiation and empanelment of different courier partners along with assessment of their regional prowess and calibrating shipment allocation accordingly

- Periodic reporting and reviews with vendors on performance metrics and remove/improve the bad actors in the system

- Lead expansion of micro-warehousing and fulfilment centers across the country to reduce delivery TAT without pilferage and control returns

- Own stock replenishment, material procurement and resolve all weight and COD discrepancies to ensure a healthy P&L

- Set up a control tower for order verification, NDR management, and customer support

- Set operational hygiene by ensuring daily stock audits, 0% dispatch breach, 100% attempt before EDD, DSLU, and ageing monitoring, 100% fill rate, etc

- Design dashlets and ensure data sanity to give real-time visibility of important metrics to the senior leadership

- Build a high-performance team to deliver operational excellence

Requirements

- 4-7 years of experience logistics, fulfillment, warehousing, control tower

- Experience in a D2C e-commerce environment or a logistics startup/service provider

- Strong interpersonal skills

- Previous experience of having worked with different courier partners and aggregators

- Experience in managing distributed teams of 50+

- Experienced scale of managing 5k+ orders per day with COD orders

- Full professional proficiency in English and Hindi. Limited/full working proficiency in regional languages is a plus

- Undergraduate degree with notable co-curricular achievements

- Ability to multitask, set priorities and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment

- Healthcare enthusiast who believes in the mission of the company and is excited about building this together

- Willingness to relocate to Bangalore (if needed) to work closely with the team (this is not a remote role)
