A regional manager is responsible for advertising, marketing and distributing a specific pharmaceutical or nutraceutical product to relevant medical establishments, doctors and relevant chemists. They meet with doctors and clinical teams and make presentations to persuade potential clients to use their products which include medicines, prescription drugs, nutraceuticals. They handle multiple zones and clusters to drive sales, Rx-es, help substitute incumbent products and launch new products through strategic initiatives.

Job Role :

- Act as a key link between the company and doctors by marketing and selling our pharmaceutical and nutraceutical products.

- Regular visit to Doctors, hospitals, pharmacists/chemists to promote company products, services and generate business to achieve preset targets, through brief presentations, collaterals and LBLs

- KOL/ KBL relationship management

- Negotiate sales with neighbouring chemists and distributors.

- Following up on leads generated by the company.

- Rx generation, Rx substitution,driving product advocacy through doctors

- Ensure successful launch of new products


- Keeping up to date with the latest clinical data supplied by the company, and interpreting, presenting and discussing this data with health professionals during presentations.

- Focus on attending and organizing Scientific exhibitions / Conferences / Seminars where participation helps in promoting products to HCPs

- Coordinate with marketing team for the organization of seminars, meets and conferences at regional and state level

- Identifying gaps & growth opportunities in various markets

- Researching competitor's medications and their respective market performances

Requirements:

- Graduate or postgraduate in Pharma/Microbiology/ BioTechnology/ Food Technology with specialization in probiotics, Medicine and/or MBA

- 5+ years of experience in establishing deep relationships with doctors, clinics, hospitals generating prescriptions, introducing new products, driving product substitution

- At least 3 years of experience handling SKUs across prescription medicines primarily focused towards preventive health and wellness.

- Fluency in English, Kannada, Hindi

- Working proficiency in MS Excel/Google Sheets, digital tools for keeping track of visits, sales and substitutions
