Role Objective:

The Collection manager at Credlix will lead the charge of managing and recovering bad loans, a pivotal role that directly impacts on our financial stability and profitability. Also, will develop and implement effective collection strategies, and ensure compliance with legal standards, focusing on minimizing financial risk and maximizing recovery rates.

In this capacity, the manager will not only lead the collections in achieving and surpassing their monthly targets but will also play a pivotal role in shaping the collections infrastructure. This includes developing new policies, training programs, and technological integrations that support effective collections practices. The role demands a strategic thinker with a strong ability to analyze data and negotiate under challenging circumstances, ensuring that the company's financial health is safeguarded.

Role Responsibilities:

Strategic Management of Collections:

- Direct and manage the collections to efficiently handle assigned portfolios, ensuring the implementation of strategic efforts to optimize recoveries and meet collection targets.

Financial Performance Analysis:

- Regularly evaluate and report on regional collection performance, focusing on non-performing assets and cost management.

- Strategically drive the enforcement of charges and penalties to optimize financial outcomes.

Operational Oversight and Compliance:

- Conduct regular field visits to engage directly with customers, ensuring resolution of accounts and adherence to the Collections Code of Conduct.

- Ensure all collection activities comply with legal standards.

Performance and Financial Management:

- Monitor and report on the performance metrics for the region, managing NPAs and controlling collection costs.

- Achieve monthly collection targets and drive the recovery of additional charges and late payment penalties.

Team Leadership and Agency Coordination:

- Oversee the recruitment, training, and management of in-house and outbound collections teams.

- Strategically identify and partner with collection agencies to maximize coverage and effectiveness.
