Modelling Analyst - Supply Chain Ops - IIT

- Formulation of supply chain optimization & simulation problems in the area of network design, capacity planning, and inventory optimization

- Analyze large set of business data, derive useful insights & communicate the same to project manager and/or client

- Develop different modeling approaches/techniques to solve the business problem at hand and recommends the best approach.

- Support project consultant/manager in preparing the client reports and presentation, methodology documents, data templates

- Communicate effectively with broad audience i.e. client/stakeholders/cross functional teams

- Work independently, take small routine decisions and seek supervision when needed

- This position will work closely with the consultant, project managers, client and other stakeholders and will be reporting to a Supply Chain Manager

Desired-

- Looking at candidates from Pedigree Institutes like IITs having done their Engineering in Industrial operations or research branch or MBA from International Schools in Supply Chain etc. 1-3 years of experience in modeling, SC operations or business consulting

- Conceptual knowledge about supply chain/optimization/simulation

- Should be working on some simulation tools like Arena, ITHINK, Supply, Supply chian Guru (good to have)
