Mobycy - Lead - Finance Control - CA

We are looking for a passionate, self-driven and experienced Finance Lead & Controller to join our team. As our Financial lead, you will be responsible for managing, developing and overseeing the whole financial management system in our company. As financial management is crucial for our company's performance, you will play a big role in company's growth and success.

Financial Controller duties and responsibilities:

- Oversee and manage prudent accounting operations

- Manage Billing, Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payables, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting and Revenue Recognition

- Identify accounting and financial issues and suggest timely solutions

- Support month-end and year-end close process

- Build entire P&L, BS

- Be the key SPOC for all internal and statutory audits of the company

- Manage quality control over financial transactions and reporting

- Manage the budgeting and forecasting, with complete MIS projections

- Produce financial statements as requested

- Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting

- Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings

- Develop and adhere to policies and procedures

- Controlling of Finance, General Accounting, General Ledger, Treasury management

- Review all financial plans and budgets and monitor all periodic financial reports

- Assist founders with board meeting deck, business plan and monthly MIS

- Work with founders to regularly look for cost reduction opportunities and optimizing Working Capital

- Manage cash flow by tracking transactions and regularly reviewing internal reports

- Ensure financial reporting systems comply with government regulations and legislation

- Lead and manage taxation, balance sheet, closing, financial statements reporting

- Coordinate with the external auditors for statutory audit and due diligence

- Identify accounting and financial issues and suggest timely solutions

- Support month-end and year-end close process

- Manage quality control over financial transactions and reporting

- Manage the budgeting and forecasting

- Produce financial statements and review P&L as and when requested

- Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting

- Develop and adhere to policies and procedures

Requirements and qualifications:

- Any experience in working in VC backed start-ups, internet/tech companies, retail companies and/or fund raising would have a definite advantage

- The person should be mature enough to handle the F&A work as well as be an advisor to the Founders in all minor & major decisions

- 6+ years of experience as a Financial Controller, Finance lead or similar role

- 4+ years of combined experience in accounting and finance

- Advanced degree in Accounting

- CA Degree is a must have

- Outstanding knowledge of accounting principles and procedures

- Experience with creating financial statements and general ledgers

- Good understanding of accounting software

- Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on company's success
