MobME Wireless is a tech startup headquartered in Cochin, Kerala, predominantly into Mobile applications and banking space. We are a 15 Million USD, 100 People strong company with presence in 5+ cities. We are looking for a banking salesperson for two of our most ambitious projects.

Mobile ID:

Mobile ID has the vision of giving a digital identity to every Indian on Mobile Phones. We put digital signatures inside phone memory, SD Cards, and SIM Cards. We are piloting with big private banks, 5 telecom operators, enterprises and government departments. A Mobile ID user can use this Mobile signature to authorize and authenticate banking transactions, sign PDF documents, and a number of other use cases which involve obtaining legal consent of a user. This is a large ecosystem play which tries to create a digital identity for users to authenticate and transact on the internet.

Chillr:

Chillr is the WhatsApp for money. With Chillr, you can transfer money to anyone in your friendlist in three clicks. User experience is the name of the game, and all you need to enter to transact is the amount and PIN. Chillr is piloting with a few big private banks, and traction among new banks is picking up. There is no cost for the bank to integrate with Chillr, they just need to give us a few APIs.

We are specifically looking for someone who has sold IT solutions to banks. Examples of these solutions include Finacle, Flexcube etc

What we are looking for:

- 5-10 years or hardcore banking sales experience, track record of having successfully closed deals

- Familiarity with solutions including Oracle, Finacle, Flexcube, and other Core Banking / Net Banking solutions.

- Ex Infy/ Oracle employees preferred

- Experience in selling through channels, strong channel sales and channel partner engagement experience will be a big plus. Direct selling experience along with that will add extra points

- Application sales background preferred over services sales experience

- A sound understanding of technology is a must, we love raw smart people

Responsibilities:

- Responsible for P&L with banks, as well as channel partners

- Pitch the concept at IT Head level (usually GM-IT). Being able to push the internal formalities of the bank including risk assessment, legal agreement etc will be of added advantage

- Close Mobile ID sales deals with 5+ private banks and 2+ nationalized banks in the next 6-9 months.

- Enter into sales channel partnership agreements with Infosys, Oracle, TCS, Microsoft, SAP etc

- Get 10-15 partner banks for Chillr in the next 12-18 months.

Characteristics:

- Self starter.

- Ability to work in an unstructured start up environment.

- Ability to work under uncertainty.

- Cultural fit for a company with an average age under 30

Compensation:

- A mix of fixed pay, variable pay and ESOPs. Pay is never a problem for the right person
