Yes, these are promising times for big box retailers and e-commerce, yet shopping at local stores is very much alive. Using the latest technologies, Mobiwiz aspires to make shopping at our neighborhood local stores even more convenient, personalized and fun!

Summary:

We are looking for a highly energetic and passionate individual to join as a Business Development Manager. If you fit the bill, then you must be someone who is not afraid to take calculated risks, has ability to build teams from the ground-zero, enjoys the power and flexibility that comes with working in startups, learns quickly from failures and maintains a positive attitude despite challenges.

- You must be having a pleasant and warm personality that can easily win the trust of potential customers. Every day may come with a new problem, so you must be thriving well in an ambiguous environment, and can make high quality decisions based on available or gathered information, and business acumen.

Location: Hyderabad

Responsibilities:

A host of activities that we think would help achieve the market launch goals are listed below, but as mentioned earlier, you will come on-board as a thinker/leader to create your own path to success. We are not looking for people who can just follow the instructions, but people who can lead.

- Acquire customers through various marketing approaches including calls, mailers, personal meetings, social networking

- Sell the benefits of using our solution to retailers owning small mom & pop stores.

- Plan resource need, hire and mentor a team of business development executives to achieve rapid and high market penetration in the target zones.

- Develop and retain positive relationships with high value clients

- Continuously analyze the available data and feedback to refine business development strategy.

- Ensure that strategy is executed well with rigor and honesty before calling for change.

Qualifications:

- Minimum 3-4 years of experience in handling a sales/marketing function in retail industry, preferably in lifestyle categories.

- Have innate or acquired business acumen to make high quality decisions where data is neither readily available nor cost-effective to obtain.

- Desirable to have worked in any lifestyle segments company before in sales or marketing roles

- Minimum graduate level education in business/commerce, but restriction can be over-looked if you come with a strong experience. MBA preferred.

- Desired to be educated in fashion technology and/or hospitality sectors.

- Must be strong in solving complex problem that involves multiple decision factors.

- You must have a track record of learning about new trends, technologies.

- Strong awareness of the retail industry, market trends and technologies

- Outgoing and friendly nature, and thick skinned to take on failures/rejections

- Very good listening skills with extreme patience to listen and understand others

- Be willing to travel within city premises upto 80% of times

- Flexibility to roll-up sleeves and willingness to help others going outside your comfort zone.

- Highly confident, humble and flexible in dealing with diverse audience.

- Capable of reasoning and debating strategy with other management team members.
