Job Responsibilities:

- Prepare and maintain monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, such as income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, and variance analysis.

- Perform book closing activities, such as reconciling accounts, posting journal entries, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and policies.

- Review and monitor expenses, identify and investigate anomalies, and provide explanations and solutions to reduce costs and improve efficiency.

- Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes, such as collecting and consolidating data, developing assumptions, and preparing financial models and scenarios.

- Process and validate claims from various sources, such as vendors, customers, and employees, and ensure timely and accurate payments and settlements.

- Analyze and report on profitability, such as gross margin, contribution margin, EBITDA, and ROI, by customer, segment, department and region.

- Conduct cohort analysis, such as retention rate, churn rate, customer lifetime value, and payback period, to measure and improve customer acquisition and retention strategies.

- Track and report on SaaS metrics, such as MRR, ARR, CAC, LTV, and NPS, to evaluate and optimize business performance and growth.

- Provide ad-hoc reports and analysis, as and when necessary.

- Communicate and present financial results and insights to senior management and stakeholders, using charts, graphs, tables, and dashboards.

Requirements:

- A master's degree in accounting, finance, or related field, or equivalent work experience.

- 2-3 years of experience in financial reporting and analysis, preferably in a SaaS or technology company.

- Proficient in Google Suite (Sheets, Slides & Docs) & Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word)

- Familiar with accounting software, such as QuickBooks and Zoho Books

- Ability to perform financial calculations and analysis, such as profitability, cohort, and SaaS metrics

- Adapt with advance Excel Formulas & Operations (including VB)

- Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written.

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively and manage multiple tasks and deadlines.

- A proactive and problem-solving mindset, with a willingness to learn and improve.
