Domain :   - CPG / Retail  - Travel domain  - Insurance & Financial Services  Role :  As a Senior Business Analyst / Consultant you will lead Consulting Engagement with one or many work streams, playing the role of SME for a Business Process or Functional area, applying business knowledge to influence solution design, and lead client pursuits from a functional point of view. Play key role in Solutions / offering Incubation and / or contributes to generating new business opportunities for Consulting / Solution led engagements. You will package analytical results in a business friendly manner which can be easily consumed and actioned and bring in improved ROI / Additional revenues to our clients by use of data, statistics and business logic. Working in collaboration with senior members of the client's organization and members of the engagement team, you will bring a high degree of broad expertise in information technology and credibility to each engagement. You will also be responsible for providing leadership/engagement management by being a trusted advisor to clients while delivering innovative solutions to complex problems.You will bring in tools and techniques to the table that will help us better solve business problems for clients.  Position Activities and Tasks:  - Developing and maintaining strong client relations with senior executives- developing new insights into the client's business model and pain points, and delivering actionable, high-impact results  - Supporting business development and ensuring high levels of client satisfaction during delivery   - Leading and mentoring other IT consultants within the practice and across business units   - Contributing to the thought capital through the creation of executive presentations, architecture documents and IT position papers  Role Expectations  - Understand the client's business model and business needs  - Create the analytical problem from the stated business problem  - Should have background on Data Based Decision making, whichimpacts Business KPIs for a specific domain   - Identify the right data sets which influences the KPIs  - Guide the team to identify the right variables, which map to the business problem  - Help in Identifying the right techniques to use for the given analytical problem  - Ensure the validation of the models prior to deployment  - Co-ordinate with the internal and external project stakeholders and ensure high quality and on-time delivery  - Great analytical skills, attention to detail  - Exposureto analytical tool kits like SAS, SPSS, R  - Business Consulting or Analytics Consulting experience  - Immense confidence and ability to see things to completion  - Knowledge of Big Data Analytics trends  - Knowledge of how to scale an Analytical Solution  - Good knowledge of cloud technologies from the perspective of Analytical Solution  - Agile (scrum) experience in live projects as a BA  Mandatory Functional Skills   - In depth knowledge of CPG/Retail domain, Insurance/Financial Services domain, Travel domain  Education   - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field preferred BE/B.Tech  - Master's degree in a related field preferred MBA  Professional Experience Required  - 10 to 12 years of demonstrated hands-on experience in the area of Business Analytics   - At least 5 Full cycle of Business Analytics engagements with at-least two engagements with role of Senior Business Analyst / Consultant  Technical Skills Required :   - Exposure to analytical tool kits like SAS, SPSS, R  - Expertise in data analysis  - Expertise in Excel  - Proficient in Microsoft Office Productivity Suite  - Exposure to SQL, UNIX Shell Script
