The company is headquartered in Hyderabad. All roles are contractual in nature and could involve travelling and long hours.

About the role :

We are seeking a creative, highly organized event manager to help our organization in organising and hosting events for our clients. The Senior Event Manager will be tasked with researching and securing venues, planning and managing our events' calendar, negotiating quotes and agreements with vendors, assisting with event marketing, monitoring timeframes, assisting in budgeting and invoicing, networking, managing risk and presenting post-event reports.

The Senior Event Manager will report directly to the leadership team and will be based out of our Hyderabad office. Candidates must be open to travelling and long hours during peak campaign timings.

Responsibilities :

- Ideation: Identify clients' and internal team's requirements and expectations for each event. Brainstorm event concepts and themes.

- Planning: Prepare end-to-end event flow along with all associated requirements. Identify appropriate venues, earmark budgets and liaise with internal stakeholders to best understand and achieve overall event objectives.

- Coordination and event execution: Organize suppliers, staff, and other technical requirements for events. Manage branding and communication, and also coordinate logistical elements of the event including obtaining necessary permits. Manage set-up, tear-down, and clean-up operations. Liaise with client members for smooth overall operations.

- Assessment and optimisation: Develop event feedback surveys to capture public sentiment towards the event and prepare post-event reports on the effectiveness of each event. Develop metrics to measure ROI and course correct wherever necessary to improve operations.

- Nurture & grow relationships: Maintain and deepen relationships with existing and new channel partners. Strategize newer ways to grow partnerships.

Desired qualifications and experience :

- Graduate/Postgraduate in Hospitality/Mass Communication/PR/Marketing from a Tier 1 college

- 4+ years of work experience in event planning and management role

- Proven ability towards constructive networking.

- Team player and multitasker with exceptional organizational skills

- Event planning and management know-how in and around Hyderabad

- Ability to manage end-to-end execution of large events involving multiple stakeholders (internal, vendors, agencies, media, etc) independently

- Have a strong bias for action and ability to deal with ambiguity

- Working proficiency in the use of MS Office Suite and G Suite

- Attention to detail and exceptional written and verbal communication skills

- Language proficiency in Telugu will be preferred
