The company is headquartered in Hyderabad. All roles are contractual in nature and could involve travelling and long hours.

About The Role

Associates/Senior Associates are part of project teams in the Political Intelligence vertical and work with the Organization team and client team members to develop political strategy for the client. Members of the Political Intelligence team interact closely with political leaders and other key stakeholders at the constituency, district, state and national level with an objective of detecting the political pulse through a series of rigorous primary and secondary research initiatives, political liaising, ground-level networking with relevant stakeholders, investigative intel gathering methods and sourcing of qualitative and quantitative data. The role demands maintenance of confidentiality and display of exemplary client management skills.

This position is based out of our Head office in Hyderabad and other local offices. Additionally, select individuals from the team will be required to extensively travel from time to time.

Responsibilities

- Track political activities - Closely follow all the key political and socio-economic developments in their assigned region along with a broad view on the state's and nation's politics to devise campaign and electoral strategies

- Build diverse information networks - Build networks with politically aware individuals and stakeholders such as political functionaries, local leaders, journalists, etc to gather insights on political developments in the respective region

- Primary and secondary research - Conduct rigorous ground research through focused group discussions, interviews and investigative methods to understand the social and political landscape of the region. Use secondary research methods to draw up detailed reports and insights on the state and constituencies to convey past and current political scenarios and developments

- Reporting - Prepare constituency, voter cohort or issue specific reports to be shared with the internal and external stakeholders

Desired Qualification and Experience

- Minimum degree from a Tier 1 academic institution with 0-4 years of work experience

- Political consulting or similar experience is an added advantage

- Understanding of local political landscape

- Working proficiency in the use of MS Office Suite and G Suite

- Attention to detail and exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

- Language proficiency in Telugu will be preferred
