Mihuru - Vice President - Credit Risk

Mihuru, a fast growing financial technology company, is looking for an experienced Credit Risk Manager, who can will build credit and risk policies based on data insights with a high focus on process/experience. You will drive innovation, to help consumers access travel and upskilling finance solutions for just their travel and education requirements across India, UAE and Africa.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Developing credit risk models that will determine loan eligibility, as well as repayment/ default predictions

2. Developing the predictive models that will determine pricing and interest rates

3. Take an active role in monitoring and adjusting all models

4. Work closely with technology to implement the credit models

5. Perform ad-hoc reporting and analysis, when needed

6. Work with lending partners to co-develop / agree on credit risk models

7. Work with marketing and business development teams to determine the best way to target potential clients

QUALIFICATIONS

1. 5 to 6 years of experience in credit policy for small ticket unsecured loans and risk analytics. Degree in a Quantitative field (Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field)

2. Expertise working in credit, risk, or consumer finance

3. Deep understanding of risk behavior

4. Experience in predictive modeling

5. Strong experience in SQL and Python

6. Excellent communication
