Role: Middle Office Operations

Key Job Responsibilities:

- The primary responsibility of this position is to support the day-to-day operations for trade booking, confirmation, settlement, collateral, product control, and Investor allocation for trades received from Global and domestic clients.

- Knowledge of SWIFT

- Pre-matching & Settlement of Equities and Fixed income products EMEA Markets (Sukuks & Murabaha).

- Understanding and interpreting Swift Messages of Institutional transfers, FX, MM, and Derivatives

- Perform middle office functions including P&L analysis, daily cash projections, calculations of FX transfers required for funding, checking client's contributions & redemptions etc.

- Perform Position and Cash recon with PB/ Custody / Counterparty and resolve all open breaks in a timely manner.

- Process non-automated transactions including OTC derivatives and their related cash movements.

- Evaluate cash flows, financing and risk associated with a broad range of investment products including Derivatives, Debt & PE.

- Analyze, Investigate and resolve issues; prepare reports for assessment and sign off on portfolio and cash risk.

- Accountability for service quality of the team and ensure that tasks are completed in an accurate and timely manner.

- Maintain positive and professional relationships with all stakeholders liaise with internal clients, client services & external counterparties.

Basic Qualifications & Requirements:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree from an accredited college or university

- Professional Accounting/Finance designation considered an asset (CFA, CPA)

- 2 - 7 years in Financial Services with an exposure to PL reporting or Operation processing

- Strong knowledge of SWIFT Payments (MT-103,202,210,300)

- Willing to work in global shifts and open to on-site travel

- Product knowledge of domestic, global and OTC security markets, fixed income and derivatives

- Knowledge of calculations such as MarketValue, Cost, FX & NAV a must

- Knowledge of system platforms such as Geneva / APX / Enfusion / Investran / Broadridge / Moxy / Tradex an added advantage
