Mid Management Role - Corporate Finance - CA - Consulting Firm

Looking for a competent qualified CA who can take up a Mid Management role in a Top Consulting company based in Chennai. Local candidates will be preferred for the role. Below given are the details for the same:

As a member of the Finance team, you will be responsible for:

1. The accurate/timely capturing,processing, analyzing and managing of our entity's accounting, financial and tax information and provide necessary information, including reconciliations, to relevant stakeholders.

2. You will be responsible for handling the month end / year end book closure activities (both tax and management books) by following proper accounting methods, policies and principles.

3. You will be an integral part of the team involved in the coordination and completion of audits (internal and statutory).

4. You will be responsible for company law matters impacting the company.

5. You will also help in enhancing our overall financial controls by preparing and developing financial and operational reports as needed.

6. You will play a major part in the preparation of annual budget and detailed analysis of the results.

7. Your responsibilities require that you are up to date with the current taxation system (direct/indirect tax laws including those impacting compensation and benefits) and stay on top of relevant changes to these requirements at all times.

8. In your role it is important that you know that you are a representative of the organization and safeguard our interests by ensuring compliance with various audit/inspection requirements (including those conducted by the government agencies) and closure, wherever needed by coordinating with other stakeholders, including external service providers.

9. You will also be the face of the organization while representing the Finance function while handling various audits, assessment proceedings, inspections by government authorities, external service providers, etc.

Qualifications:

- A Chartered Accountant with minimum 5+ years of experience in the field of accounting, finance, taxation

- Strong customer service skills, overall understanding of accounting fundamentals, exposure to management reporting systems and maturity to handle various audits.

- Excellent knowledge of accounting and corporate finance principles and procedures; legislation and regulations of the field

- Attention to detail and ability to deal sensitively with confidential materials

- Openness to feedback and high integrity

- Strong organizational and time management skills, prioritization abilities, ability to work under tight deadlines

- Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills and ability to problem-solve collaboratively

- Excellent oral and written communication skills, ability to engage positively with stakeholders

- Knowledge of MS-Office applications for MIS / reporting purposes
