Microstrategy Architect

- Project Architecture of the MicroStrategy components

- Design and create new schema objects (attributes, facts, hierarchies, tables) for evolving reporting needs

- Participate and Lead the design, build, release and deployment procedure

- Design and develop complex and functionality rich dashboards in MicroStrategy for deployment on iPad

- Analyze user requirements and, based on findings, design functional specifications for BI front-end applications

- Understand complex data Models, design guidelines and how to optimize them to work in an ad-hoc reporting environment

- Create report objects including the use of relationship filters, custom groups, consolidations and VLDB properties

Job Requirement :

- 6+ years of experience in MicroStrategy reports and dashboard development

- Ability to work independently with minimum supervision. Guide and mentor people.

- Data Model experience (knowledge about star and snowflake schema) and familiar with Data Warehousing techniques (top-down and bottom-up approach)

- Familiar with MicroStrategy Mobile/ iPad Capabilities

- Excellent communication and problem solving skills

- Evaluate functional and technical business requirements and be able to transform those requirements into MicroStrategy solutions

- Comprehensive knowledge of the MicroStrategy tool suite (I-Server, Architect, Desktop, Web, Narrowcast, OLAP Services and Report Services).

- Advanced knowledge on SQL Server/ Oracle database as back end

- Development experience on Microstrategy version 9 (and higher)

- Experience utilizing the MicroStrategy SDK to customize the look and feel of the UI

- Experience with MicroStrategy Enterprise Manager

- MicroStrategy Certification and training is beneficial (but not must to have)
