Key Responsibility Areas:

Sales & Distribution:

- Responsible For the Zone P&L Account

- Responsible for the Entire Portfolio of the Zone, taking care of Sales, CSD, Admin, Marketing

- Driving Sales through Distributors Network and team of ASM and SE/SSE and motivating them to drive performance to achieve organizational targets.

- Identifying and networking with financially strong and reliable channel partners resulting deeper market penetration.

- Ensure the desired product availability up to the last point of the market.

- Formulated visibility programs & worked on low utilization site and new sites to ensure maximum revenue generation and customer acquisition.

- Work with circle marketing in management of schemes/ promotions/ contests being run to promote the company brand.

- Improved the billing, claims to company and stocks.

- Establish retail channel schemes at the zonal level based on corporate guidelines and with the approval of the circle/zone sales head.

- Assess and analyse impact of trade promotions/ schemes/ promotions/ contest being run by the circle and communicate feedback to zonal manager & circle marketing

- Ensuring target & growth achievement in each product category, effective implementation of Marketing Program and Scheme.

- Network expansion, penetration and extraction to ensure sizable Market Share.

- Ensuring proper merchandising and product placement.

Manpower Skilling:

- Ensure flow of knowledge, skills and training from company to the dealer/ retailer staff to ensure output as per targets. Assess training requirements on an ongoing basis.

- Determining training needs, identifying training gaps conducting program for team members to enhance operational efficiency leading to increased productivity.

- Build and develop the retail team. Enhance team motivation and productivity levels. Assist HR in identifying team-training inputs

- Successfully managing, motivating & developing the team and ensured that they performed to their maximum level to accomplish the business objectives & maintained a high standard of agency satisfaction scores

Relationship Management:

- Build and strengthen relationships with key accounts; ensuring high customer satisfaction by providing them with complete product knowledge & support

- Setting up sales objectives, ensuring accomplishment of targets by generating reports and modifying processes to ensure smooth sales & marketing

- Coordinating with the other departments, ensuring smooth and profitable operations

Market Intelligence:

- Analyse market share / distribution trends. Co-relate with sales performance by brand and productivity.

- Supervise MIS generation and analysis on a periodic basis and provide feedback on best practices to zonal head.

- Updating about the market info, strategies, policies of competitors and relevant suggestions to seniors.

- Ability to strategize and conceptualize clearly

Candidate Specifications:

- MBA pass-out from Tier-1 / 2 institutes and hard-core sales experience in Channel Sales preferably in Telecom domain for Mobile Handsets

- Prior experience of working with multiple Distributors in his territory

- Should have prior experience of streamlining the Channel Sales process

- Should be open to travel as extensive traveling would be required for this role
