About the Role :

- As the Analytics head, he will be responsible for developing Analytics solutions to solve complex business problems.

- Should have a very good understanding of business. Experience in similar industry is preferable. He will be required to work with large data sets using quantitative techniques and build complex statistical models that learn from big data.

- This role will require to collaboratively work with other team members across the organization and developing cutting edge, creative and advanced analytic solutions and processes.

Essential Requirements :

- At least 10 years of experience in the field

- M Sc or PhD in Data mining, Machine learning, Statistics, Math, Engineering, Operations Research, Computer Science, or other quantitative discipline.

- Proficient in some or all of the following techniques: Linear & Logistic Regression, Decision Trees, Random Forests, K-Nearest Neighbors, Markov Chain Monte Carlo, Gibbs Sampling etc., Evolutionary Algorithms (e.g. Genetic Algorithms, Genetic Programming), Support Vector Machines, Neural Networks, Deep Belief Nets, RBMs etc

- Demonstrable programming ability in different programming languages such as Python, R, Java, Matlab, Pig or SQL

- Multi variable Calculus and Linear Algebra

- Data Munging

- Data Visualization & Communication

Desired Skills:

- Familiarity with Qlik, Tableau, Hadoop, Hbase/NoSQL, Spark and Storm

- Experience in handling real world large data sets through project work, internships or employment

Job responsibilities :

- Lead design and code reviews and enforce coding standards

- Manage live releases during short downtime windows

- Develop and manage end-to-end technical projects and ensure on-time delivery

- Being a team player and contributing to a professional and balanced working environment

- Mentor and develop more junior staff, including working on career objectives
