Microland - Project Manager - App Development

- Experience in a technology environment, including min 2-3 years of practical experience as a project manager.

- PMP OR Prince 2 Practitioner OR any other industry recognized project management certification.

- CSM certification and experience to agile development will be an added advantage.

- Rich experience in driving requirements sessions with customers, documentation if use cases.

- Excellent understanding of application development practices, highly comfortable with SDLC processes with some exposure to ITSM processes.

- Proficient with MS Project or similar software and MS Office applications.

- Demonstrated experience in leading cross-functional project teams.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills

- Strong persuasion and negotiation skills, including conflict resolution skills.

- Manage application development project activities for multiple projects across all project phases, including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, control and closure.

- Incorporate just enough project management processes to optimize delivery.

Working closely with Technical Architect and Project Leads - create, manage and track project artifacts, including, but not limited to :

- Detailed Project Plan

- Project Schedule Plan

- Project Scope Statements

- Cost Estimates

- Resource Plans

- Project Status Reports

- Risk and Issues Log

- Communicate and collaborate with internal and external customers as needed in regards to project deliverables including managing expectations, presenting and interfacing with sponsors.

- Drive requirements gathering sessions with customers, documents detailed requirements and hand-hold TLs and developments to translate business needs into technical requirements, provide guidance to testing team to ensure completeness of test cases.Provide ongoing project plan/status reporting for the consumption of customers and delivery leadership.
