Microland - Manager - Legal

- Build an effective compliance framework to ensure adherence/compliance by the business of the various laws, regulations, taxes, rules, licences etc across geographies. Being the SPOC for Modulo or any other R&C tool to capture the compliance requirements under various laws and contracts on an ongoing basis

- Responsible for remedial actions based on legal compliance risks identified in the R&C tool like Modulo

- Review of existing business practices including employee related matters and ensuring compliance in all geographies

- Setting up a network of legal consultants in various geographies for various compliances for liaising with law firms as and when needed;

- Support for establishment of new branches and subsidiaries

- Support for legal support on Immigration, IP and noncontract compliance matters

- Providing advisory support on all regulatory issues impacting the interests of the business and driving a pro-active regulatory compliance approach

- Continual compliance risk assessment of company practices together with the development of internal policies and procedures;

- Keep abreast of regulatory developments and industry initiatives and advise ML Legal Head and CFO on periodical basis.

WORK EXPERIENCE :

- Minimum 7 years of compliance experience in a well-known IT services company is must

- Exposure to laws especially USA, UK, Middle east
