Report to the Director of PM for the End User Computing business unit.
Product management responsibility for product offerings within the End User Computing markets.
Job Description :
- Identify new product opportunities by analyzing customer needs, market trends and competitive gaps; champion and present opportunities to management for consideration.
- Will oversee the research of customer business needs and market requirements; be the voice of the customer.
- Will ensure those needs are translated into user requirements with the appropriate business case, impact analysis, competitive analysis, and financial forecasts.
- Work with engineering, other business units, functional groups and GEO leadership to define the roadmap and strategic vision for the product.
- Lead as internal product champion; evangelize product vision and direction throughout the organization.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with analysts and partners.
- Will work in concert with the Solutions & Product Marketing organization.
Required Skills :
- BS in CS/EE or equivalent, with a technical background and formal business training. (MBA preferred)
- 8 years of related experience.
- Experience in agile development processes.
- Ability to identify, prioritize and clearly articulate market and customer requirements.
- Ability to set strategic direction and implementation strategies.
- Ability to lead and manage a team of professionals.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Market evaluation and formulation of strategy.
