Position : Manager / Sr Manager - Policy Advocacy.

Location : Delhi.

Experience : 5 Yrs Relevant.

Industry : Solar Industry

Role : Individual Contributor

Major Tasks & Responsibilities

1. Liaison and relationship building with various stake holders such as Government, regulatory bodies and other government agencies

2. Engagement with Industry bodies like CII, FICCI and other relevant industry bodies

3. Proactively engage with the policymakers and ensure TPS- presence and participation in the right forums and on the right issues

4. Represent the company in all relevant meetings with industry stakeholders and actively advocate the Company's stance on various policies

5. Market Scanning and Research in tracking any changes in the Regulatory Policy framework and internally relay the same to the respective functions

6. Act as a single point of contact within the company for all policy related issues

7. Advising the management on the regulatory issues impacting the business options

8. Organize/maintain a system for responding to advocacy alerts in a timely manner.

Personality profile: Eg. leadership, communication, presentation, interpersonal skills etc.

- Strong network within relevant ministries and regulatory bodies within the Government

- Knowledge of the solar industry policies

- Ready to collaborate and work effectively in a team

- Self-driven and result-oriented

- Sound understanding of company needs

- Ability to negotiate effectively

- Excellent communication skills - both oral and written.
