Designation: Manager/ Sr. Manager – Indirect Tax

Experience - 7-10 Years of Post Qualification experience in Indirect Tax (Service Tax, customs, excise, VAT)

Location - Mumbai

Educational Qualification - Qualified CA/LLB from 2003-06 batch

Responsibilities:

- Directly handle the queries of the clients.

- Monitoring and Allocation of the right resources for every project.

- Since the individual has about 7-10 years of post-qualification experience, then some degree of technical/analytical ability is required to handle this position.

- Completely be in touch with the process of the work being done.

- Setting up of the formal schedules with the clients.

- Understanding the customer’s needs.

- Would be reporting to the Partner.

- May supervise everybody from Asst. Manager to Interns.

- Market to clients in the absence of the Partner.

Job Description:

- Transition from technical and research resource to engagement with the clients directly.

- Start becoming aware of the financial matrix of a tax consultancy.

- Responsibility Role- Should be looked upon and be Iconic to the subordinates, which may bring excitement in working with the individual.

- Billing, technical expertise, MIS, adherence to financial targets.

- Completely be able to understand and handle the issues of the clients on the spot.

- Team Development- development of a good team right towards the junior level, team motivation.

- Monitor all the levels up to the Interns and have an effective grapevine existing amongst all levels.

Skills/ Knowledge:

Should have all round knowledge of the field and be a master of any specific field.
