Basic Accountability Statement:
- Conceptualize and develop new solutions for the analytics vertical and clients
- Develop predictive models using client & credit bureau data.
- Conduct in-house research to improve existing methods or develop new ones for the company’s domain
Duties & Responsibilities :
- Analytical Product & Solution Development as per best practices
- Accountable for stakeholder relationship and management of product development
- Liaise with Analytics Business Development Team and also Potential Clients in partnership with the sales teams
- Conduct projects related to the statistical analysis of data that will address the Credit Risk of consumer portfolios
- Accountable for the full project cycle of analytical and modeling projects, which includes developing detailed modeling and analysis requirements, performing advanced statistical techniques, coordinating analytical resources, and ensuring that deliverables are in accordance with expectations and business needs.
- Assure compliance of regulatory and privacy issues during implementation of modeling and analysis projects.
- Work in collaboration with the Global Scoring Team
Qualifications:
- 4-7 years of analytics experience in financial services domain is a plus.
- Prior product development and/or modeling experience.
Skills :
- Good understanding of statistical tools (inferential statistics , sampling theory , logistic regression, GLM) and their application to business, as well as principles of cost/benefit analysis, risk management, marketing and operation
- Ability to conceptualize new solutions
- Ability to multi-task and manage multiple stakeholders
- Experience in the study of business data using statistical analysis in order to discover and understand historical patterns with an eye to predicting and improving business performance
- Strong project management and client management skills
- Knowledge of implementation of analytical solutions like score cards, segmentation etc
