This position is part of the Analytics team and is responsible for supporting analytic initiatives requiring detailed statistical analysis, and light development and automation. Responsible to drive actionable business and insights leveraging a variety of query, statistical analysis, and big data analytic tools.

Duties & Responsibilities:

- Must have the knowledge and expertise to deliver innovative analytical solutions and techniques on structured and unstructured data

- Deliver on custom analytics engagements to create insights through analytical that deliver values to clients

- Translate business problems and challenges into analytics problems and interpret analytics to generate insights for business.

- Execute on projects for data studies and data insights based on structured and unstructured data

- Perform data studies and data discovery for new data sources or new uses for existing data sources.

- Work on large datasets to prepare data and drive analytic insights from initiatives driven through Hadoop.

- Accountable for the full project cycle of finalizing analysis requirements, data extraction, performing statistical analysis and presenting results to internal stakeholders in accordance with expectations and business needs.

Qualifications :

- MBA, PG in mathematics, statistics or economics, actuarial science

- 3 -6 years’ experience in analytics (in financial services domain is a plus).

Skills :

- Experience with Business Intelligence and Analytics Tools (Tableau, etc), big data frameworks like Hadoop

- Big data analytics methodology to bring actionable intelligence from large scale of datasets

- Strong programming skills in SAS, SQL

- Good understanding of statistical tools and their application to business

- Ability to multi-task and manage multiple stakeholders

- Strong project management and client management skills
