Manager ( Shared Services ) General Accounting -- MNC PHARMA COMPANY

- CA / ICWA with 4-7 yrs experience in - Shared Services , Business Services , Group Company Accounting , Finance , Accounts, Tax, Audit, Treasury, USGAAP for an MNC Company , working on SAP Platform

- Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in accordance with US GAAP, local/statutory accounting standards, policies and procedures and all applicable laws and regulations.

- Responsible and accountable for period close activity, monthly management period, quarter, annual both for statutory and management reporting.

- Prepare monthly reporting package for next level reviews with variance analysis and qualitative comments. Will be responsible for Global account and balance sheet reconciliations. Will ensure accuracy of GL accounts.

- Responsible for annual audits both statutory and USGAAP.

- Assist in the preparation and coordination of internal audits

- Oversight of manufacturing related financial accounting.

- Adhere to and monitor policies and procedures, and accounting policy throughout market and serves as a resource in all aspects of country level accounting. Should be able to guide colleagues with clarity and good knowledge of policies, procedures and processes.

- Serve as final point of escalation for Accounts Receivable/Accounts Payable issues.

- Serves as the primary contact with the co-sourced provider of direct and indirect tax preparation.

- Prepares and reviews quarterly and annual income tax provision calculations required for consolidated financial reporting. Works closely with external tax consultants to maintain timelines.

- Oversees the preparation of indirect tax returns and reports for the market (VAT, service tax etc.). Ensures the external tax consultants timely deliverables and monitors their work.

- Ensure compliance, timeliness and accuracy in TDS, service tax and VAT.

- Serves as the primary contact for all local tax issues. Leads the compilation of data and information for tax assessments and audits.

- Coordinates with local tax authorities on audits, as per requirements.

- Serves as a very strong and reliable back up to the Finance Controller.

- Special projects as required.
