Job Responsibilties:

- Improve Quality of bought out components at receipt stage through standardized inspection systems at receipt inspection.

- Measurement system analysis for precision measurement Equipment.

- Facilitate SQI, MQA, PQA & mfg to investigate root cause of reported issue.

- To enhance skill level of Cell member.

- Standardize measurement equipment & SOP of Inspection across FES.

- Finalization of Capital Equipment for FES

- Plan equipment planning meeting periodically to utilize CAPEX(Capital Budget)

- Monitor daily RIR time

- Calibration, utilization & up gradation of various metrology equipments & instruments.

- Fulfill requirement of NABL standards for metrology lab.

- Develop training course on Metrology Basic & Advance modules.

- Develop process of capturing & monitoring of 'Equipment Availability Index' for following equipments.

- Engine & Trans CMM , Gear tester

- Perthometer, Talyrond , Hommel Tester

- Piston profile tester & Spring load tester & Other metrological instruments

General Requirement:

- Working knowledge of major quality tools like 7 QC , DOE

- Hands on experience of using various measuring instruments and equipments

- Well versed with GD & T, MSA

- Knowledge of statistical tools / Statistical approach

- Excellent Analytical skills (Data and Technical)

- Knowledge of different ISO standard pertaining to Metrology

Experience- BE - 8 to 16 years; Diploma - 12 - 18 years, preferably in Metrology field

Industry Preferred: Automobile, Auto ancillary or Metrology Solutions

Qualification: BE / Diploma - Mechanical
