Metro Wholesale - AGM - Finance - CA

Experience : 8~12 years post qualifying CA (CA is Mandatory)

REPORTING:

- Preparation of Balance sheet, P&L on monthly basis in Reliance format

- Preparation of cash flow statement

- Variance analysis with respective comparative period with reasons for movement in BS & P&L heads

- Preparation of notes to accounts, including PPE schedule with addition/deletion statements matching to BS

- Creation of new GL's & ensure Grouping as per Reliance TB

- Ensure correct feed of information in compliance check list.

- Submission of signed Financials for quarter closing on time before the Board meeting

- Review of Financials with Finance team

- Track & report details of investment made by Metro.

- Check if any security (Equity/OFCD/others) is pending allotment or allotted, make sure it is aligned with status in holding company's books.

- Report details of Contingent Liabilities & Capital commitment

- Track Related party transactions & ensure reconciliation of balances.

- Preparation of Deck for the board meeting.

- Creation of an annual Reporting Calendar, keeping it updated and shared with all relevant stakeholders involved.

- Communication, coordination and updating all stakeholders on the requirements and necessary workings.

Statutory Audit:

- Lead the Audit team and ensure smooth and timely completion of Statutory Audit of Metro India

- Facilitate Audit by coordinating with auditors and internal stake holders.

- Independently manage audit queries.

- Prepare complete financial statements along with notes to accounts fully compliant with Ind AS requirements.

Other Activities:

- Lead the team with respect to inventory valuation, including aged stock provisioning.

- Finance Lead for the BS review with central reporting team of Reliance

- Ensure closure of Lease entries as per IND AS 116 requirements
