MetricStream - Business Analyst

Mandatory Requirements:

- Experience with customer interaction, requirements gathering, gap analysis and software development lifecycle is a must

- Strong knowledge on the Business Analysis process and techniques

- Excellent problem solving, presentation, written and oral communication skills

- Hands-on approach essential

- Instrumental team player in the delivery of successful projects

Preferred Skills:

- Experience as a functional consultant in one of the top ERP solutions (Oracle, SAP, Peoplesoft), preferably in the Manufacturing and Financial domains is a plus

- Knowledge of SQL and Javascript, a plus

- Familiarity with the business processes of at least one of the verticals like Automotive, Pharmaceuticals, Healthcare or Foodservices is a plus

- Project management skills are a plus

- Practical exposure to Agile frameworks and Scrum methodology

Personal Traits:

- Strong comprehension, analytical and problem solving skills

- Owning Functional Requirements and Front ending with customers (internal and external)

Role and Responsibilities:

- Interact with MetricStream's worldwide clients to understand their business process, gather requirements, provide solutions and perform gap analysis and map to the existing products

- Collaborate with MetricStream's various internal departments regarding application features and functionality

- Perform requirement gathering, Gap analysis, functional testing, User Acceptance Testing and end user training

- Create requirements document, gap analysis document, functional specifications as well as review test plan and test cases; Execute functional testing of the configured product

- Work on RFPs (Request For Proposals) as required

- Understand the configuration aspects of the various MetricStream modules

- Install and configure MetricStream products

- Help the development team & QA team understand the business requirements

- Review Application User Guides and training material for MetricStream's customers

- Short term (1 week to 1 month) travel is required

Education and Experience:

Bachelors or Master's degree in Engineering/Business or Computer Applications

4+ years in software applications development with international exposure
