Position Summary :

This position is part of the Shared Service Center - Financial Planning & Analysis team. The FP&A Senior Manager is responsible for leading a team performing daily, monthly and quarterly process activities. The FP&A Senior Manager will apply adequate internal controls in compliance with US GAAP, SOX rules and MetLife Financial Policies.

This position will provide Decision Support to Leadership Team and Business Partners (e.g. Sales, Marketing), and act as a key supplier of financial talent for the global finance organization. Also, ensure preparation and delivery of dashboards for organization's consolidated reporting including monthly, quarterly, and annual results and forecasts. Responsible to oversee and enhance financial analysis and consolidation to minimize production time and maximize value for key customers and to provide ideas, solutions, and tools to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of company financials.

Job Responsibilities :

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Assist the Director, Performance & Reporting with day-to-day task planning and special projects related to planning, budgeting and forecasting and reporting & performance analysis

- Manage and enhance financial analysis and consolidation to minimize production time and maximize value for key customers

- Lead reporting of financial results on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis by managing complex consolidated financials, multiple business units and interacting with other departments

- Provide periodic updates to Leadership Team on financial analysis, progress against goals and recommendations to close financial gaps

- Set & incorporate Top-Down targets and align with Bottom up plan

- Leverage assumptions and key drivers to facilitate plan preparation

- Manage preparation of various ad-hoc requests received from Senior Management, key business partners, or other corporate areas

- Provide ideas, solutions, and tools to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of FP&A function

- Oversee and build financial models to allow senior leadership an effective means to identify and/or assist with decision making

- Manage to report of financial results on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis including analysis on revenue, costs, and key productivity metrics

- Coordinate and develop a budget, forecast, and rolling estimate processes

- Lead a successful annual budgeting process by managing complex consolidated financials, multiple business units and interacting with other departments

- Manage and enhance financial analysis and consolidation to minimize production time and maximize value for key customers.

- Assist in creating FP&A reporting metrics

- Monitor and deliver on agreed service level metrics.

- Provide coaching and feedback to team members to enable them to improve their performance.

- Collaboratively work with other process teams as required to support key issue resolution

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities :

Education :

- CA /CPA/ MBA with accounting background and specialization in finance is required.

- An eye for details and analytical skills to analyze variances, prepare variance commentary is the must.

- Candidate from financial service or insurance industry will be preferred.

Experience :

- 11-13 years of experience ( 8-10 years in FP&A)

- Team leading experience is a mandate

- Demonstrated experience in leading/managing projects

- Consulting experience a plus

Knowledge and skills (general and technical) :

- Relevant systems knowledge ( MS Excel, Outlook, Planning tools, such as: Oracle Cloud, Hyperion-HFM)

- Knowledge of US GAAP, SOX and Colgate Financial Policy

- Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills

- Interact with SDL/Director for the purpose of reporting performance, escalation handling, clarifying concerns, and seeking feedback and support

- SDL/Director for the purpose of settling issues left the unresolved and monthly evaluation of performance

- Subject Matter Expert for the purpose of seeking cooperation and best practice sharing
