Messe Muenchen - Process Transformation Specialist (10-15 yrs)

Role Summary:

As a Process Transformation Specialist, you will play a key role in driving organizational efficiency, streamlining processes, and implementing business automation solutions. Structure:

This role currently would report to the Executive Director.

Interface Communication/ Business Relationships:

- All internal teams including functional and project stakeholders.

- External includes technology vendors.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Following are the roles and responsibilities, including but not limited to:

Process Analysis and Optimization:

- Conduct thorough analysis of existing organizational processes to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.

- Apply lean methodology principles to streamline workflows and eliminate waste, ensuring optimization and enhanced digital capabilities.

- Collaborate with various departments and teams to understand their unique processes and requirements.

- Facilitate discovery workshops and meetings to gather insights and promote a collaborative approach to process improvement.

- Conduct gap analysis and model the As-Is and To-Be processes.

Solution Design and Business Automation:

- Design and implement business automation solutions to enhance operational efficiency and reduce manual intervention.

- Propose innovative and practical solutions to address business challenges and process gaps in alignment with organization's strategic goals.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for digital transformation initiatives.

- Translate business requirements and reengineered processes into clear and concise specifications for technology teams with detailed documentations including business requirement documents, functional requirement documents, process flows, use cases, user stories and wireframes.

- Prioritize based on business objectives and assist in sprint planning and drive outcomes as per plan. Change Management and Continuous Improvement:

- Lead change management initiatives to ensure smooth transitions during process transformations.

- Work closely with stakeholders to communicate changes, address concerns, and promote a positive transformation culture.

- Develop and deliver training programs to equip employees with the necessary skills to adapt to new processes and technologies.

- Establish a continuous improvement framework to monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of implemented processes.

- Identify emerging trends and technologies to further enhance organizational capabilities

Data-Driven Decision Making:

- Leverage data analytics to make informed decisions and measure the impact of process improvements.

- Implement key performance indicators (KPIs) to track and report progress.

Quality Assurance:

- Participate in system testing, user acceptance testing, and validation of implemented solutions.

- Ensure that delivered solutions meet the specified requirements and are of high quality.

- Monitor adoption progress and identify potential risks or deviations from the plans.

Candidate Requirements:

- Relevant work experience of 10-15 years in service industries.

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field (Master's degree is a plus).

- Certification in Lean Management

- Proven experience as a Process Transformation Specialist/ Business Analyst/ Solution Designer or in a related role with focus on lean methodology.

- Strong background in business process automation, including hands-on experience with relevant tools and technologies.

- Change management expertise with a focus on business automation and digital transformations.

- Experience in using project management tools, JIRA/ Confluence/ Trello/ Basecamp/ alike.

- Experience in using documentation, wireframing and prototyping tools, MS Office/ Lucid Chart/Visio/Figma alike.

- Experience in configuring SaaS products based on use cases and driving adoption.

- Proficiency in requirement gathering techniques, process modeling, and documentation.

- Familiarity with project management methodologies and software development lifecycle.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.

- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

- Work on SaaS modules to configure products and solutions in alignment with process improvements.

- Familiarity with industry best practices and a commitment to staying abreast of emerging trends.
