MES Product Consultant - Digital Manufacturing Firm

As a Global Product Manager for Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) at Our organization, you'll set the vision and direction for the MES product line. You have deep understanding of manufacturing, how the MES is used within manufacturing, and the value the MES brings to manufacturers. -This position is remote, but prefer hybrid presence at our Noida, India office-

Key Responsibilities:

- Able to define roadmap and document of detailed requirements of the Manufacturing Execution System

- Collecting functional requirement and deliverables across that within the timelines.

- Strong knowledge on module building and core MES structure.

- Knowledge about industrial standards such as ISA-84, 88,95 and 21CFR part11 guidelines and shop floor implementation.

- Knowledge in IT-OT network Segmentation, understanding on standards like IEC 62433/NIST 800-82.

- Collaborating with customers to understand needs and pain points, and the ability to translate those into product recommendations and roadmap requirements. Build both external and internal consensus to drive organization's MES product roadmap. Perform market and competitive analysis; build cost and pricing models; develop strategy to increase market growth; and coordinate with global Sales, Engineering, and Support teams in executing the strategy. Become a "super-user" of company's MES product and the go-to subject matter expert.

- Write manufacturing-related blog posts, conduct product-related webinars and user groups, speak at industry events, and travel to customer sites to build relationships and learn about customer needs.

Requirements:

- Minimum of 8 years product management experience, in manufacturing software

- Strong knowledge of the competitors in the MES space, with the ability to compare their strengths and weaknesses.

- Strong experience of MES workflow, integration of MES with SAP/ERP software, industrial communication, gateways etc.

- Strong understanding of manufacturing KPIs and practical experience driving their improvement.

- Hands-on experience on at least one of the MES platform i.e. Dassault Apriso, Siemens Opcentre, Aveva etc.

- Chemical industries knowledge and process understanding.

- Proven ability to define strategy, set goals, and drive results.

- Strong ability to transform ambiguous requirements into a clear, focused action plan and requirements.

- Strong collaboration and negotiation skills

- Strong communication and presentation skills

- Strong ability to work in cross-functional teams.

- Demonstrated history of writing industry blog posts and/or industry speaking engagements

- Engineer/ MBA or equivalent is a strong plus.

- Domestic and international travel required.
