Meru - Data Science

Job Description:

- Take end-to-end ownership of a high impact data science project from formulation, planning, architecting different solution approaches, implementation at scale, measure and deliver.

- Partner with different stakeholders across Product, Analytics and Engineering teams to deliver world class data science products.

- Demonstrate and drive deep technical expertise in solving real-world retail business problems through the application of machine learning.

- Act as an SME on the floor and help build data science capabilities

What makes you a great fit:

- Should be Graduate / Post Graduate from Indian Institute of Technology

- Proven track record of successful data science deliverables preferably in Automotive/ logistics/e-commerce or other domains

- Proficiency in Python, R, Hive, Spark or related tools for model building

- Experience handling a wide variety of data of large volumes

- Experience creating and using advanced machine learning algorithms and statistics: regression, simulation, scenario analysis, modeling, clustering, decision trees, etc.

- Knowledge of advanced Excel and SQL for data analysis.

- Experience with any data visualization tool : ggplot2/ matplotlib / seaborn / D3.js / Tableau

- Exposure to Deep Learning techniques like LSTM / GRU / RNN / CNN and NLP techniques is a plus
