Meritto - Compliance Program Manager

Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Compliance Program Manager to join our team. The Compliance Program Manager will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing our company's compliance program to ensure adherence to all applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in compliance management, exceptional leadership and communication skills, and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing compliance risks.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement a comprehensive compliance program, including policies, procedures and controls, to ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards. Ensure the policies are communicated and enforced effectively across the company.

- Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to identify areas of non-compliance and develop remediation plans as needed.

- Provide guidance and training to employees on compliance requirements and best practices.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate compliance considerations into business processes and systems.

- Monitor changes in relevant laws and regulations and proactively plan the steps to conform, as necessary.

- Serve as the primary point of contact for regulatory bodies and external auditors during compliance reviews and audits.

- Lead investigations into incidents and implement corrective/preventive actions as appropriate.

- Prepare and present regular reports to senior management on the status of the compliance program and any significant compliance issues or risks.

- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to compliance activities, including audit findings, remediation plans, and training records etc.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security or related field; advanced degree or professional certification in compliance or a related field preferred.

- Minimum of 8 years of experience in information Security compliance management.

- Proven track record of developing and implementing effective compliance programs and controls.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels of the organization.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate compliance risks.

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

- Experience working with regulatory bodies and external auditors preferred.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and compliance management software.

- Comprehensive understanding of Data Privacy Compliances like GDPR etc. and Security Compliances like ISO, SOC 2 etc.
