About the Role:

- Prospect and generate leads: Conduct outbound prospecting activities such as cold calling, email campaigns, and social selling to identify and engage with potential customers.

- Qualify leads: Conduct thorough research to gather information about prospects and understand their pain points.

- Nurture leads: Engage with leads through multiple touchpoints, including phone calls, emails, and social media, to educate them about Meritto's value proposition and build relationships. Understand their challenges and needs to position Meritto as a solution.

- Schedule product demonstrations: Collaborate with Account Executives to schedule product demos for qualified leads. Ensure a smooth handoff of leads to the sales team.

- Maintain CRM database: Enter accurate and up-to-date information about leads, activities, and interactions into the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system. Track progress and update sales opportunities accordingly.

- Collaborate with the sales team: Work closely with Account Executives and Sales Managers to align sales efforts, share insights, and provide feedback on lead quality and conversion rates. Continuously refine strategies and tactics based on feedback and market trends.

- Stay informed about industry trends: Keep up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies in the sales and marketing space. Share relevant insights with the team to enhance sales effectiveness.

- Strive for excellence: Consistently strive for personal and team success.

Desired skill:

- Proven experience of over 2 years as an SDR or in a similar sales role, preferably in the software-as-a-service (SaaS) industry.

- Strong communication skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to engage with prospects effectively and articulate the value of Meritto's solutions.

- Sales mindset: A passion for sales and a drive to exceed targets. Ability to handle rejection and persist in pursuing leads.

- Self-motivated and proactive: Demonstrated ability to take initiative, work independently, and manage time efficiently. Willingness to go the extra mile to achieve results.

- Technical aptitude: Comfortable using sales software and tools, including CRM systems and sales engagement platforms. Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies.

- Relationship-building skills

- Organizational skills: Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
