M&A Manager level role

- The desired candidate will be playing a decisive role in evaluation of potential M&A opportunities as part of the client's M&A function.

- Track and analyse the competitive landscape to identify suitable targets for potential M&A.

- Understand the broader market context and fitment of acquisitions from a commercial perspective

- Manage the due diligence process of M&A by asking pertinent questions that help is assessment of the underlying transaction

- Work with 3rd party financial due diligence and commercial due diligence vendors

- Independent valuation based on both DCF and comparable analysis

- Work on deal structuring, negotiating term sheets and working with legal to draft MoUs and binding agreements

- Target firms include consumer durables and other manufacturers of consumer products selling on proprietary e-commerce platforms OR other 3rd party e-commerce sites.

Ideal candidate :

- Must have live deal side experience in the consumer durables/ products/ e-commerce.

- Strong financial modelling skills/ LBO models

- Must be able to create a 5 year business or an operating plan for target companies.

- Candidates must be from Top Tier MBA Colleges or CA's with 4-6 years experience.

- Candidates from buy-side firms or boutique IB firms with mid-market experience in India

- Given the seniority of the role only candidates with real deal experience will be considered
