Mercury Capital Advisors - Associate/Senior Associate - Investor Relations/Fundraising Team Support (2-5 yrs)

Mercury Capital Advisors is seeking to hire a full-time Associate to provide support to the Investor Relations / Fundraising team in preparing and maintaining regular pipeline reports, analytical dashboards, conducting market mapping and preparing marketing presentations and reporting materials. Typical job responsibilities for the role would include, but not limited to :

Preparing and maintaining internal reporting materials :

- Managing and continually evolving various internal reporting suites (such as Salesforce) and performing rich analytics to support internal stakeholders in the fundraising and investor relations process including preparing and maintaining pipeline trackers, outreach analysis and other relevant factsheets

- Providing internal stakeholders with targeted, incisive and succinct dashboards, reports, and analyses that promote data driven decisions

- Ensure fund and product level data is kept up to date across various databases

Other support tasks :

- Mapping and maintaining databases of target prospects and landscaping of the potential investors

- Maintain a deep understanding of the firm's product offerings, including investment philosophy, investment strategy and general portfolio constructs

- Creating and maintaining marketing materials including product level presentations

- Support the Fundraising / Investor Relations Team in coordinating responses to investor queries in a timely manner

- Provide support in preparing marketing and investor materials including PPMs, presentations for both potential and existing investors

- Coordination of due diligence and information requests of prospective and existing investors

Qualifications and Characteristics :

- Minimum of 2-3 years of investor relations experience in the financial services industry, preferably within the area of alternative investments

- Investment banking experience a plus

- Knowledge of fund structures and various ratios viz. Internal rate of return, Time weighted return, Investment multiple

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- Self-starter with an Intellectual curiosity and exceptional attention to detail

- Global mindset with the ability to collaborate and work with teams across different geographies

- Exceptional Excel (ability to perform macros), PowerPoint and Word skills

- Sound knowledge of operating the Salesforce platform is a prerequisite

Compensation and Benefits :

Base salary above or on par with the industry standards; and discretionary annual bonus. The employee shall also be entitled to participate in any benefit plans, leaves, programs and policies that may be made available to similarly situated and designated employees and as per the company policy.
